Louth Co Co and Ungweru

Since 2006, Louth Co Co has been helping schools in Malawi through
a Kiltegan Missionary Priest, Fr John Ryan, who has been working in
Malawi for over 30 years.  Fr Ryan is involved in various development
projects in and around Mzuzu.  All this development is coordinated by a
small organisation called
Ungweru.  Ungweru has other very strong Irish
connections and it is heartening to see so many Irish groups and
individuals working together for development in Malawi.  The following
Irish groups have contributed to Ungweru:

Louth Co Co
Small Change in Cork
Glounthaune Parish Cork
St Helena Bay Golf Resort (Rosslare)
Kiltegan Development Fund (Co Wicklow)
Thurles Greyhound Track
