In January 2009, Louth Co Co have given a second donation of Euro
10,000 for the completion of the new Girl's Hostel which is to
accommodate 120 girls.  As we get reports and pictures from Fr John
Moyo we will post them here.

Stop Press:
The very first results from Kaseye Girls Secondary School have been
brilliant.  In the whole country of Malawi, the pass rate for Junior
Certificate Examinations was only 53% but KGSS had 65 girls passing
out of 66 girls.  The Ministry of Education has been so impressed that
KGSS has been upgraded from a District Secondary School to a
National Secondary School.

Kaseye Girls Secondary School (KGSS) is situated in one of the most
remotest areas of Malawi.  It is a new boarding school for girls, only
opened in January 2006. The third intake of students will arrive in
January 2009 and there was no hope of any place to accommodate
them until Louth Co Co assisted.  Louth Co Co very generously gave
€10,000 towards the construction of a girls hostel.  Below are
photographs of what has been achieved with this €10,000.  A report
by Fr John Moyo is also attached below.
