Headmaster of St Augustines is Mr Shawa
The School Committee of St Augustine's Primary School was officially informed of the good
news from Louth Co.Co. on the last Sunday in September. There was great joy and
clapping all round. The Chairman made a speech thanking Fr J. Ryan and Louth Co.Co.
for this help. Immediately they got to work and contacted three local businessmen and
organised labour in order to carry sand to the site where the new Classroom Block will be
built. They want to get it done before the rains come in late November or December.
