In the course code EMT xxxx 'EMT' is the acronym for 'Education
Mathematics' reflecting the fact that these courses were origionaly
designed for the Faculty of Education. However, now all these courses
have been adapted to all faculties within the university.
The first digit of xxxx denotes the 'Year' or 'Level' of study. The second
digit of xxxx denotes the semester. Mzuzu university operates a four
Level (Year), eight semester first degree program (two semesters per
year, so EMT 24xx denotes the fourth semester in Level 2). The last two
