The Plan to Rehabilitate
Mzuzu Technical College
St Helena Golf Resort, Rosslare, Co Wicklow, Ireland has pledged €15,000
for the first phase of the renovation which is due to begin in January 2009.
This first phase will rehabilitate the Luwinga Hostel of Mzuzu Technical
College and will proceed according to the following documents:
Mzuzu Diocese is the legal owner of Mzuzu Technical College. While thegovernment does pay the salaries of the staff, it has no input to the
infrastructure of the college and are not involved in any way whatsoever in
this project.
The rehabilitation will be directly implemented by the Principal of Mzuzu
Technical School together with his staff and students. Fr John Ryan will
monitor very closely all progress. The procurement and purchasing of all
materials will be done directly by Fr Ryan and he himself will deliver the
materials to the College as they are needed. A special bank account will be
opened for this project to facilitate strict accounting.
