arrived and is now in office.

- Ungweru has recently instituted a Child Protection Policy with Mrs
Helen Mwalughali as First Child Protection Officer and Miss Ulemu
Phuma as Second Child Protection Officer. The policy document can
be downloaded from the Management Page of this website - Senator Mary White (Ireland) visited Ungweru recently and saw the
new site where the new offices are being built - Ungweru has begun the building of its new offices
- Ungweru has two Malawian volunteers, namely Fishani and Twesa
- Ungweru has a new Irish Volunteer ---Mrs Elizabeth Delaney
- Ungweru became an NGO in January 2010
