Twining or Partnership
- We would like to promote
twinning or partnerships
between the Luwinga area of
Mzuzu and Irish groups (a
town, school, youth club
etc). - For this reason we do have
plans to build accommodation
to cater for groups up to 16
people. See below.
Ungweru Hostel
To facilitate volunteers Ungweru has
plans to build a hostel to
comfortably accommodate 16 people.
The plan is below and planning
permission has been given by Mzuzu
City Assembly. The site for the
hostel is in a very prominent
position along the main Mzuzu -
Karonga M1 road and bordering Mzuzu
University. All we need to complete
the building is Euro 30,000. The
hostel can of course be built in
stages. This could provide a focus
for initial fundraising.
